Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and during onboarding, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are

Pleny is operated by Rize Labs Pte. Ltd. ("Rize Labs", "we", "us"). For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we're the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.

What we collect

• What you put in the early-access form: your name, WhatsApp number and email address, and, if you choose to tell us, your business name, the kind of business you are, the countries your clients pay from, your rough monthly payments from abroad, whether you have a GSTIN, and how you get paid now.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email, and our replies.
• Documents you share during onboarding, such as your GSTIN, PAN of partners or directors, partnership deed or certificate of incorporation, and business bank account details.
• Basic technical data sent by your browser when you submit the form, such as its user agent, and the time you submitted it.

Why we collect it

• To contact you about early access, on WhatsApp, by email or by phone.
• To understand your business and decide whether the service is a fit.
• To onboard you with our licensed payment partner, if you decide to go ahead.

We rely on your consent, which you give when you join through the form. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Our licensed payment partner, only once you start onboarding, so it can carry out its own checks and open your account.
• Service providers that run the website, such as the companies that host it, store the form, and deliver our email. They process data only on our instructions.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a regulator or a court.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry while we're in touch about the service. If you don't go ahead, we delete it within 12 months of our last conversation. If you onboard, we keep onboarding records for as long as we, or our payment partner, are required to by law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
• Corrector complete data that's wrong or out of date.
• Erase your data, unless the law requires us to keep it.
• Withdraw consentat any time. It's as easy as giving it: send us a message. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew.
• Nominatesomeone to exercise these rights for you if you die or can't act yourself.
• Raise a grievancewith us about how we handle your data. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we'll tell you directly.
